Stop the genocide

Israel’s settler-colonial project has again shown its true nature. In retaliation for the new military phase of the Palestinian liberation movement that started on October 7th, the Zionist entity is committing open genocide against Gaza.

Israeli prime minister Netanyahu absurdly and cynically tells the residents of Gaza to leave or face death. The whole world knows the residents of Gaza are in the largest open-air prison in the world. They cannot leave.

Smash apartheid

Apartheid, ethnic cleansing, and bombing civilians are all fundamental to the Zionist project. There can be no Israel without them. Talk of a two-state solution only provides cover for the continued oppression and dispossession of Palestinians.

Even Palestinians within the pre-1967 borders are citizens in name only. We support the long-standing Palestinian demand for a single democratic, secular Palestine open to all.

Watchdog state for the US

The Zionist entity serves US imperialism as a military outpost, economic partner, and police agent in the region. US imperialism is a bipartisan project.

Since the formation of Israel through the 1948 Nakba, both Democrats and Republicans have backed the Zionist expulsion, dispossession, and oppression of the Palestinian people. The US often pretends to be a mediator between Israel and Palestine. It never is. It always backs Israel.

Zionist socialists?!

US government officials who claim to be socialists, including Bernie Sanders and DSA members, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman, have disgustingly climbed on the Zionist bandwagon and denounced Hamas’ “terrorism.”

Biden has gone so far as to call the Palestinian offensive antisemitic, when it is really anti-colonial. The target is not a religion, but a state based on stealing Palestinian land. This is not an ancient conflict, but a modern one created by imperialism and the settler-colonial project.

A united ruling class

The hypocrites that have rushed to denounce Hamas for taking “civilian” (settler) lives have had little to say about the many thousands of Palestinians slaughtered by the Zionist entity over the last 75 years. The same is true of liberal media outlets like MSNBC.

Supporters of Palestine do so in opposition to a united ruling class. This creates the potential for more radicalization than exists around other issues, where the Democrats have fraudulently positioned themselves as allies.

Zionism or peace, not both

Virtually the entire Israeli population is part of the Zionist military machine that has kicked out Palestinians and won’t let them return. Israeli settlers who have been killed in the conflict are also victims of Zionist aggression.

Apartheid, ethnic cleansing, and bombing civilians are all fundamental to the Zionist project. There can be no Israel without them. Talk of a two-state solution only provides cover for the continued oppression and dispossession of Palestinians. We support the long-standing Palestinian demand for a single democratic, secular Palestine open to all.

If Zionism did not expel and oppress Palestine, Palestinians would not need to engage in military attacks on Israel. Those outraged by violence on either side should put the blame where it lies — on Zionism and its US backers!

Inspired by intifada

On Oct 7, Palestinian resistance groups launched an unprecedented military incursion into Israel. This was the first major military campaign originating within Palestine. It shattered the myth of Israel as an invincible military and intelligence state.

Palestinians’ heroic breakout of Gaza and their military attacks against their occupiers have inspired an outpouring of support around the world. Massive demonstrations of solidarity have grown on every continent.

Our responsibility in the US

People in the US have a special responsibility to fight for Palestinian liberation. If not for US financial, military, and political support, the apartheid state would collapse.

We need to demand an end to US aid to the Zionist entity. We need to support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS). We need to oppose all the politicians who give aid and political cover to Zionism. The Democrats are no more a solution than the Republicans.

Resistance is justified

We need to put all our demands on Israel and the US, not on Palestinians. We should reject calls for a general cease-fire which would pressure the Palestinians to pull back from their liberation struggle.

Unlike the fake liberal allies who only support Palestinians as docile and defenseless victims, we pledge unconditional support for Palestinian resistance.

When people are occupied, resistance is justified! There is only one solution! Intifada, revolution!
